An extract of the article edited by Nathan Brooks:
“A journey into Italian handcraft riding a bike with the original “Scatto Italiano”. A real fixed-gear bicycle, like those ones that were produced at the beginning of the XX century.
A rediscovery of steel and of all of those families who, from generation to generation, have passed down their traditions. This is a daylight against the industrialization devoted to large numbers, this is a project dedicated to Quality, Style and Uniqueness. This is a real Scatto Italiano mission. Scatto Italiano is the name of the project born by two young Italian designers, Giuseppe Gurrado and Pietro Nicola Coletta. Their aim is to create a “Made to be Unique” and now this is a real thanks to more than 200.000 bicycle combinations available among the elements of their bikes.
