The One Bauhaus

In the Bauhaus Programmatic Manifesto, in 1919, Walter Gropius, the founder and first director of the Bauhaus, wrote: “Let us together create the new building of the future, which will be everything in one form: architecture, sculpture and painting.”An interdisciplinary concept to bring together the fine arts and the architectural arts with an emphasis on construction.

It was precisely in pursuit of this principle that we wanted to purge the soul of The One Bauhaus of all decorative adornments, to create a refined and timeless bicycle made of primary geometries of different colors and sizes.

Nel Manifesto Programmatico della Bauhaus del 1919, Walter Gropius, il fondatore e primo direttore della Bauhaus, scrisse: “Creiamo insieme il nuovo edificio del futuro, che sarà tutto in una forma: architettura, scultura e pittura”. Un concetto interdisciplinare per unire le belle arti e le arti architettoniche con un’enfasi sulla costruzione. È stato proprio seguendo questo principio che abbiamo voluto purificare l’anima di The One Bauhaus da ogni ornamento decorativo, per creare una bicicletta raffinata e senza tempo fatta di geometrie primarie di colori e dimensioni diverse.
