DESCRIPTION
Saltafossi is a 100% Made in Italy bag, handcrafted from premium, highly flexible leather that’s resistant to weather—even marine conditions. Passionately made by Alessandro, third generation of the BBR Borse Bici Resnati workshop, its design is inspired by the 1950s, when it was used by field workers. It features a tear-resistant strap, is water-repellent, and fitted with nickel-plated metal hardware. Even when exposed to water, it can be easily dried and maintained using the Voyage Maintenance Kit.

Saltafossi is made with the finest tanned leathers, processed to maintain a high degree of flexibility over time and resistance to all atmospheric agents, even the most aggressive ones related to the marine environment. The production process is completely artisanal, made with ancient manual techniques and a lot of passion by Alessandro, the third generation of the family atelier BBR Borsa Bici Resnati, founded in Monza by his grandfather Angelo and his brother Giovanni.
DESIGN
Saltafossi has a timeless design. In Italy it was common in the 1950s and was usually used to go to work in the fields, where sometimes it was necessary to lift the bike to overcome the roughness of the ground. In the internal part Saltafossi is reinforced by an anti-tear band. It will never abandon you in your time of need!
WATER RESISTANT
Resistant to water and atmospheric agents thanks to the water-repellent treatment of the leather and the Made in Italy nickel plating on the small metal parts. The anti-tear band provided in the central hidden layer of the handle will protect the structure from stretching. In case of prolonged exposure to water, the external leather will inevitably absorb a percentage of damp, but it will be enough to let it dry naturally, clean it of water and dirt, and then treat it with Leather Hydra Nutrition from the Voyage Maintenance Kit.
